What are we going to eat tomorrow?

Questions about the future of nutrition

People depend on food and water; they need to sleep, move and, above all, breathe.
Food security has been a central issue since earliest times. Soil, water, climate, and biodiversity are crucial. Industrialization of agriculture and globalization have changed a lot in the last hundred years. While more food is being produced, hunger and malnutrition affect about one-third of humanity. Loss of water, soil, biodiversity and spread of toxic industrial chemicals threaten food security.
The Symposion Dürnstein asks experts from a wide range which perspectives they consider crucial for future food security.
